What Is ANSEM (The Black Bull)? The Pump Story, the 60 Percent Wallet and the Risks

By: WEEX|2026-08-20 01:30:42

ANSEM — officially named "The Black Bull" — is a Solana memecoin created through Pump.fun in mid-June 2026, made famous by its association with the influencer Ansem (Zion Thomas, @blknoiz06), and it went from a market cap in the tens of thousands of dollars to tens of millions in under two weeks. Three facts first, because most coverage gets them wrong: Ansem did not create this token, there is no "official Ansem coin", and the token has no product, team or tokenomics. The rest of this page tells the "black bull" pump story with dates and sources, lists the documented risks and makes no price forecast — unlike the page that previously covered this topic on this site.

Identity first: which ANSEM?

  • Name: The Black Bull · Ticker: ANSEM · Chain: Solana (SPL, 6 decimals)
  • Contract (CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap): 9cRCn9rGT8V2imeM2BaKs13yhMEais3ruM3rPvTGpump
  • Site: blackbullsol.com — at the time of writing it shows only the project name and ticker; no whitepaper, no roadmap, no disclaimer. X: @BlackBullSol
  • Team: none. The deployer is an anonymous wallet.

crypto.news (29 June 2026) states plainly that "there is no single official $ANSEM coin created or canonically endorsed by Ansem" and that, depending on which page, wallet or exchange you open, "ANSEM may refer to the intended token contract, a community meme token, or a copycat asset using a similar ticker." For any reader that is the most important line of this article: always compare the contract address.

The "black bull" pump: documented timeline

DateEvent (source)
5 October 2024ZachXBT accused Ansem of promoting low-cap memecoins and causing follower losses — about the person, 20 months before the token (Cointelegraph, Bitcoinist; Persian coverage on Zoomarz)
About 16–17 June 2026An anonymous wallet created the token on Pump.fun for about $6,300, received 792 million tokens, sent 650 million to Ansem's wallet and sold the rest for $11,800 — an initial profit of about $5,500 (Ramzarz News, crypto.news)
27–29 June 2026Ansem posted that he "had to give the trenches a stimmy since pump refuses to" and airdropped about $7 million of ANSEM ($6.7 million to more than 700 wallets) from creator fees; stated goal: from 25,000 holders toward one million (The Defiant)
28 June 2026, 06:30 UTCWEEX opened ANSEMSOL/USDT spot trading (WEEX Help Center — the announcement links to blackbullsol.com, i.e. this token)
29 June 2026Intraday record $0.12, fully diluted valuation briefly above $120 million; Ramzarz News reported +284% in 24 hours and an influencer-linked wallet holding over $71 million, adding a warning about "the possibility of a pre-arranged agreement and severe supply concentration"
6 July 2026All-time high $0.4436 (CoinGecko; CoinMarketCap $0.443)
20 August 2026About $0.23, roughly 47–48% below the high; market cap about $96–98 million, FDV about $230 million (CoinGecko / CoinMarketCap)

The documented explanation for the June run-up is twofold: influencer association plus supply concentration (crypto.news cites "a single-day surge of well over a hundredfold", Phemex "roughly 26,000% in a single week"), and the $7 million airdrop as the catalyst for the 29 June spike. No documented explanation exists for the decline from the 6 July high to today, and this page does not invent one. The all-time low differs between sources (CoinGecko $0.0001444 on 25 June; CoinMarketCap $0.0000356 on 16 June), so no single figure is given.

Supply and ownership concentration (instead of tokenomics)

  • Max supply 1 billion; total supply 998.32 million; circulating about 415.7 million (41.6%) — CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap, 20 August 2026.
  • About 604 million tokens (about 60%) in Ansem's wallet (The Defiant); RugCheck via Phemex: "one wallet controls more than 60% of the tokens."
  • No formal allocation, no vesting, no funding round — so there is no "next unlock", but an unscheduled supply overhang the size of 60% of supply is always present.
  • Main-pool liquidity about $2.4 million against an FDV of about $233 million; about 149,000 holders (GeckoTerminal).
  • Claims seen on some pages — "launched in early 2024", "2% of each transaction burned", "15% of supply burned" — contradict market data (998.32 of 1,000 million total implies about 0.17% burned) and are not used here.

Where ANSEM trades

CoinGecko shows Meteora, PumpSwap and Orca (decentralised, against SOL and USDC) and MEXC (centralised, ANSEM/USDT) as the main markets; IQ.wiki also names Poloniex. On WEEX the token is listed under the display name ANSEMSOL and the ANSEMSOL/USDT spot pair was active at the time of writing (20 August 2026, market page and public ticker feed); no futures market is active for it. Note that the display name ANSEMSOL differs from the ticker ANSEM — match the contract address above with the listing announcement. No delisting notice for this pair was on record in the WEEX Help Center.

The outlook for ANSEM: what can actually be watched

This token has no roadmap, product, partnerships, audit or unlock schedule. The only documented, repeatable drivers are three: statements and on-chain activity by Ansem personally (his airdrops moved the price on 29 June), exchange listings (WEEX on 28 June, MEXC per CoinGecko) and the behaviour of that 60% wallet. Any other "catalyst calendar" for this token is guesswork.

Documented risks

  1. Copycats and ticker confusion: "no single official ANSEM coin" (crypto.news); a 2024 impersonation phished about $2.5 million from victims.
  2. Supply concentration: more than 60% in one wallet.
  3. Market-manipulation caveat: Ramzarz News raised the possibility of a pre-arranged agreement.
  4. Reputational risk of the namesake: ZachXBT's 2024 allegations against Ansem — allegations, not established fact; and Ansem himself has said tokens using his name are "not him".
  5. No risk disclosure from the project: the site has no disclaimer at all.
  6. Thin liquidity relative to FDV and the inherent volatility of a Pump.fun token.

Frequently asked questions

Did Ansem create ANSEM?

No. An anonymous wallet created it and sent 650 million tokens to his wallet; he later engaged with it by airdropping creator fees, but creating and endorsing are not the same thing.

What does ANSEM do?

Nothing. It is a standard SPL token described as "a transparent, community-driven memecoin on Solana" with no documented utility.

Where will the ANSEM price go?

No reputable source knows and this page does not forecast; the only citable figures are the $0.4436 high (6 July) and a price of about $0.23 on 20 August 2026.
