NATO to Allocate 70 Billion Euros for Ukraine Aid in 2026

Prefer us on GoogleNATO countries will provide 70 billion euros for military equipment, assistance, and training for Ukraine in 2026. The alliance also plans to allocate the same amount in 2027. Currently, tens of thousands of Ukrainian servicemen have undergone training through programs from alliance countries, learning combat tactics, tactical medicine, and air defense system management. The NATO Security and Training Initiative for Ukraine (NSATU) coordinates the processes, supplies equipment, and provides technical maintenance. Major General Mike Keller noted that the established coordination mechanism handles all logistics and technical support, allowing Ukrainian forces to focus on combat operations. Foreign instructors aim to enhance the training level of Ukrainian soldiers. Following recent Russian attacks, the alliance is seeking opportunities for further air defense supplies to Ukraine.
