Morgan Asset Management portfolio manager Kelsey Berro stated that the investment-grade bond market will experience a busy issuance period in September, with strong demand for corporate bonds and concerns about supply potentially being overstated. Market expectations for the issuance scale in September range between $175 billion and $250 billion. Berro pointed out that even if supply reaches $250 billion, "it's not a problem," but the uncertainty surrounding the final issuance scale makes it difficult for market participants to prepare in advance. She warned that if a large supply in September can be smoothly absorbed by the market, currently hesitant investors may quickly enter the market, with "funds flooding into the market." Any signs of market stabilization could attract significant buying interest.
