The Chicago Mercantile Exchange Group (CME Group) is adding four Ethena (ENA) price indicators to its institutional crypto price data feed. In a notice on August 17, CME announced that starting from 6 PM on August 24, it will provide ENA-related price data through its CME CF Cryptocurrency Pricing Market Data Feed channels 213 and 214. The indicators include ENAUSD_RR, ENAUSD_NY, ENAUSD_AP, and ENAUSD_RTI, consisting of daily price indicators based on London, New York, and Asia-Pacific, as well as real-time indicators updated every second. CME specified that these indicators are not intended for settlement of any contracts and emphasized that this announcement should not be interpreted as a listing of ENA or the initiation of ENA futures settlement. CME's single asset crypto benchmark serves as a data product that can be used for institutional digital asset valuation, portfolio validation, and risk management. According to publicly available price data, ENA rose from a closing price of $0.1423 on August 21 to $0.1668 on August 24, although no correlation with the CME announcement has been confirmed. CME's data provision will begin shortly after 6 PM KST on August 24.

Bitcoin tore through the mid-$60,000s, cleared $70,000, blew past $75,000, and briefly touched $79,000+ before easing back to around $77,000 — a 20%+ move in a single week. The mood across crypto flipped almost overnight. But a violent rally is only the opening act. The more explosive the move, the more it calls for a clear, calm mind.
