Hetmantsev: Compensation and Military Risk Insurance Programs Need Acceleration

According to the partial compensation program for destroyed or damaged property, 200 applications have been approved for a total of 3.95 billion UAH. Within this program, 359 applications have been submitted, of which 200 have been approved. Additionally, 101 applications have been accepted under the insurance premium compensation program for military risk insurance contracts. Hetmantsev noted that the dynamics of program implementation are improving, but this is not enough to meet the needs. One of the factors holding back the pace is the procedure for assessing losses, with delays occurring at the level of local commissions. Work is underway with regional military administrations to improve the mechanism. The Cabinet of Ministers has simplified the conditions for businesses to participate in the military risk insurance program, allowing insurance companies to offer policies without confirming the use of insured property in their core activities.
