XRP Price Stagnates Despite Ripple's Business Expansion
Ripple is in the process of expanding its business, yet the price of XRP has fallen approximately 72% from its peak in 2025. Despite an increase in the adoption of XRP Ledger by banks and the inflow of funds into spot XRP ETFs, there has been no price increase. Ripple has launched the RLUSD stablecoin platform this year and is expanding its business across various blockchain networks, but this has not positively impacted the price of XRP. Banks can settle transactions instantly on the XRP Ledger, reducing the need for long-term holding, and Ripple is increasing supply by releasing XRP from escrow every month. Approximately $1.49 billion has flowed into spot XRP ETFs, but the XRP held by these ETFs accounts for only 1-2% of the total circulating supply, limiting their market influence. Recently, large investors have purchased over 600 million XRP during the price correction phase, while individual investors have started selling, leading to increased selling pressure. Chart analysis indicates that it has taken an average of 1,410 days for XRP to form a new cycle peak, with a target outlook of $27 by 2029-2030. Standard Chartered expects XRP to approach $7 in 2027, $12.60 in 2028, and $28 in 2030.
