According to Jinshi reports, the number of Americans applying for unemployment benefits decreased by 3,000 last week, to 209,000, indicating resilience in the labor market and providing space for the Federal Reserve to address inflation. Although economists expect the number of unemployment benefit applications to increase due to seasonal factors in the summer, the labor market is currently still stagnant. Financial markets expect the Federal Reserve to maintain the benchmark overnight interest rate in the range of 3.5% to 3.75% until next year.
