According to Bloomberg, cryptocurrency exchange platform Gemini stated that its workforce has shrunk by about 30% since layoffs at the beginning of the year and is introducing artificial intelligence tools to improve productivity. Gemini lost over $500 million last year.

As of March 1, the company founded by billionaire twins Tyler Winklevoss and Cameron Winklevoss had approximately 445 employees. Based in New York, Gemini stated that it did not provide a business outlook for 2026 when releasing its fourth-quarter results.
