Meanwhile, AI programming agent company Cognition has acquired Poke to enhance the interaction experience of its programming assistant Devin, indicating that the industry is still competing around code generation. In contrast, Prentis is betting on a broader desktop automation scenario. Recently, Anthropic launched Opus 5, emphasizing low-cost and open tool usage experiences; NVIDIA and Mistral are promoting the development of open-weight models in the U.S., believing that open models will aid practical AI automation applications. Market observers suggest that low-profile agents capable of reliably completing daily repetitive tasks may achieve a larger user base.
