NVIDIA has released the results of the Vera CPU storage benchmark, showing that its NVIDIA BlueField-4 STX storage processor significantly enhances encryption, compression, integrity checking, and data recovery performance in AI-native storage. The benchmark indicates that the BlueField-4 STX storage processor equipped with the Vera CPU achieves performance improvements in several storage tasks compared to x86 CPUs: AES-128 encryption performance improved by 1.43 times, AES-128 decryption performance improved by 1.29 times, Reed-Solomon data recovery performance improved by 3.26 times, CRC32C integrity checking performance improved by 3.67 times, compression performance improved by 3.29 times, decompression performance improved by 1.72 times, and the performance of the compression + encryption multi-stage storage process improved by 3.21 times. NVIDIA pointed out that traditional CPUs require an increase in core count and power consumption to expand storage processing capabilities, while AI-native storage needs to maintain low latency under high concurrency and large data volumes. Vera enhances the processing capability per CPU resource, supporting more AI Agent workloads without significantly increasing infrastructure costs.

Long-end U.S. Treasury yields surged to multi-year highs, pressuring technology, semiconductor, storage, and optical communication stocks and driving a clear cooling in market risk appetite. At the same time, Anthropic’s revenue came in below some bullish expectations, prompting investors to reassess the AI growth narrative; Unitree Robotics officially listed on the STAR Market, extending momentum in robotics and embodied AI; while SpaceX and other commercial space names showed relative resilience. Investors are now focused on tonight’s Federal Reserve minutes for clearer signals on the policy path and broader market sentiment.
