Sudan: The Integration of AI and Web3 is an Inevitable Trend, Payment and Asset Rights Will Become Essential
On August 29, at the "AI × New Finance - Innovation Global Tour: Hong Kong Station and Yangtze Stars Program Launch Conference," Sudan, an assistant professor of finance at the Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business, stated that as the volume of information continues to explode, AI will shift from assisting in information processing to making decisions and executing tasks for users. Once AI begins to execute transactions directly, payment and asset rights will become unavoidable aspects, which is precisely where Web3 and digital currencies can play a role. Therefore, the integration of AI and Web3 is highly certain. Sudan also pointed out that AI is changing the way companies compete, and valuable AI products in the future will need to form a business closed loop and be accountable for the final results. As model capabilities and workflows gradually become commoditized, a company's competitive advantage will increasingly rely on unique data, real scenarios, and deeply integrated business processes.
