NBU Updates Inspection Plan for 2026, Adds KD Bank
The National Bank of Ukraine has updated its plan for on-site inspections for 2026, including "KD Bank" and excluding the financial company "Solid Group" due to the revocation of its license. The plan includes inspections of eight banks and six non-bank institutions regarding compliance with financial monitoring, currency legislation, and sanctions restrictions. Inspections for "KD Bank" are scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026. The updated schedule for bank inspections is as follows: Q1 - "Ukrainian Capital Bank"; Q2 - "Kominbank", "UkrSibbank"; Q3 - "Sky Bank", "EPB"; Q4 - "Asvio Bank", "Globuss Bank", "KD Bank". Among non-bank institutions: Q1 - "ProfitGuide", insurance company "USG"; Q2 - insurance group "TAS", "Lombard Credit Ukraine"; Q3 - "Aventus Ukraine"; Q4 - financial company "Finexpress". The changes to the plan were made based on a risk-oriented approach, taking into account the results of risk assessments of banking activities. Inclusion of an institution in the plan does not imply the establishment of violations; it is a planned oversight of compliance with requirements in the areas of financial monitoring, currency control, and sanctions legislation.
