NAVER, NVIDIA, and Brookfield plan to expand the infrastructure of their AI factory in South Korea, aiming to increase the capacity of the NVIDIA DSX AI factory from 55 megawatts to 200 megawatts by 2028, with a long-term goal of reaching gigawatt scale. NVIDIA plans to invest $1 billion in NAVER, while Brookfield has signed a non-binding term sheet to potentially contribute up to $9 billion, with the remainder covered by NAVER. NVIDIA's investment is contingent upon NAVER securing at least $9 billion in independent financing commitments. This infrastructure will serve AI innovators in South Korea and the United States for building next-generation models, agents, and AI services, utilizing NVIDIA's Vera Rubin and Blackwell platforms.
