KB Securities is restructuring its digital strategy by integrating artificial intelligence transformation and digital asset response. Since the launch of its internal AI agent, Kkaebi AI, in May this year, usage and the number of users have increased more than 15 times. Park Jae-man, head of the AI Digital Division, emphasized the importance of AI and digital assets, noting that the division was established early last year to integrate AI and digital transformation functions. Kkaebi AI supports 25 business skills and over 100 data repositories, significantly enhancing work efficiency. For instance, tasks that previously took 7 to 8 hours for IPO demand forecasting have been reduced to just 30 minutes. KB Securities compiles a report on Kkaebi AI usage every day at 8 AM and shares it with the entire division. In the digital asset sector, tokenized securities and the tokenization of physical assets are key focuses, with a review of both standardized and non-standardized securities products underway. The launch timing of the first product will be determined according to the legislative schedule. The company is also exploring opportunities in overseas markets and discussing potential collaborations with firms like JP Morgan and HSBC. The response to stablecoins will be handled at the level of KB Financial Group.
