BlockBeats News, August 27th, the Hyperliquid platform's perpetual contract XPL is currently priced at $0.84, with a 24-hour trading volume exceeding $158 million, an open interest of approximately $50.5 million, and a funding rate of about 0.15%.

In earlier news, the market saw a large-scale sniper attack on XPL: four major addresses coordinated an attack on short hedges, with a total profit of around $46.1 million. The leading address 0xb9c…6801e accumulated multiple long positions since August 24th and made a large buy order to clear the order book at 05:35 this morning, realizing a profit of about $16 million within a minute. The other three addresses closed their positions successively after the price surged. Currently, the leading address still holds approximately $11.43 million worth of XPL in a 1x long position, with an unrealized profit of around $3.35 million.
