Decline in Brent Oil and Bitcoin Prices in the Last 24 Hours
In the last 24 hours, financial markets have been influenced by a cautious atmosphere and political and regulatory factors. The news of the commencement of talks regarding the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz has reduced energy supply risks, bringing the price of Brent oil down by 5.22% to $83.34. In the gold market, the price of each ounce decreased by 0.48% to $4,057, and gold's inability to break through the 21-day moving average at $4,066 has made buyers cautious. The cryptocurrency market was also negative, with Bitcoin dropping by 0.98% to $62,795. The disclosure of a vulnerability in the Coldcard hardware wallet and the theft of $89 million in Bitcoin has put pressure on investor confidence. Additionally, the halt of Bitcoin options trading on Nasdaq and the liquidation of nearly $12.8 million in trading positions have intensified the downward trend. In the Iranian market, the price of 18-carat gold per gram fell to 18 million and 281 thousand tomans, and Tether also decreased by 0.11% to 191 thousand and 873 tomans. The direction of the markets in the coming days will depend on the fate of negotiations between Iran and the United States and the reactions of investors.
