BitPlanet Installs 1,204 Bitcoin Miners in Paraguay and Oman
BitPlanet has installed 1,204 Bitcoin mining units in Paraguay and Oman, with operations expected to begin shortly. The total investment was $9,999,228, covering 454 units of the S21 XP Hydro model and 750 units of the S21e XP Hydro model, both from Bitmain. The infrastructure is being implemented in partnership with Antalpha, which provides logistics and housing for the equipment. The goal is to mine at least 7 BTC per month and 84 BTC per year. This move diversifies BitPlanet's business, which until now has focused on Bitcoin treasury with a reserve of 300 BTC. Additionally, the company plans to expand into AI data centers and, in the long term, into AI energy infrastructures. Paraguay, which accounts for 4.3% of the global Bitcoin computing power, ranks as the fourth country in computing processing, behind the United States, Russia, and China. The exact location of the facilities in Paraguay was not specified.
