Bitmine Acquires Additional 19,000 ETH, Total Holdings Surpass 5.77 Million

Prefer us on GoogleBitmine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) purchased an additional 19,000 Ethereum (ETH) on August 1. According to on-chain analysis expert Ai Yi, two new addresses linked to Bitmine acquired 18,914.13 ETH over a span of 10 hours at an average price of $1,861, amounting to approximately $35.2 million. Additionally, a wallet believed to be owned by Bitmine was confirmed to have purchased 10,464 ETH (around $19.48 million) through FalconFX on the same day. Bitmine currently holds about 5.77 million ETH, with a total asset value reaching $11.3 billion. The stock price of Bitmine remains weak, having dropped 51% in the first half of 2026 and plummeted 89% from its all-time high. The price of BMNR derivatives has slightly decreased to $15.76, while real-time price data indicates it is currently trading at $17.28. Bitmine plans to raise capital by issuing 3 million shares of 9.50% Series A perpetual preferred stock, which will be used for additional ETH and digital asset purchases, as well as strategic investments in the Ethereum ecosystem. Bitmine's ETH-centric strategy carries high revenue potential and concentrated risks, which could significantly impact its stock price based on Ethereum price fluctuations.
