Apple will introduce a brand new 'Readiness' app at its launch event on September 13, designed to assess users' physical recovery status and readiness for daily activities. This app will serve as a variant of the existing watchOS 11 'Vitals' app, generating a comprehensive metric based on data such as average heart rate, respiratory rate, blood oxygen levels, wrist temperature, and the duration of sleep from the previous night, similar to Oura's 'Readiness Score'. Previously, developers had discovered traces of 'Readiness' in the watchOS 27 beta code. Apple also plans to release the Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4, which will feature continuous heart rate monitoring.
