1inch Co-founder Anton Bukov Departs to Launch New Project Second Tier

Anton Bukov, co-founder of the decentralized trading aggregation protocol 1inch, has announced his departure. Bukov was responsible for designing core architectures such as 1inch Router, Fusion, and cross-chain Swap. He will cease participating in company operations by the end of November 2025 due to strategic direction and leadership disagreements, but will retain his status as co-founder and 50% of the shares. He has announced the launch of a new project, Second Tier (tier.xyz), which aims to build secure and efficient blockchain infrastructure, with the goal of shortening the distance between users' economic intentions and final execution.
